Global statistics clearly indicate how fast the population is ageing. Within the next 30 years, the proportion of the population over 65 will almost double. About 97% of them are on long-term medication. In the future, there will be a shortage of professional nursing staff, forcing society to look for innovative technological solutions that will support living at home, preventive health care, and monitoring of personal health. This will postpone the need for institutionalization in later years. Addoz will try to respond to these future challenges by launching the intelligent tablet dispenser system on the eHealth market.
